Error message: Database couldn't be backed up

What does this error message mean and how do I fix it? The 1Password Database could not be backed up. Database exists but is invalid. One or more keys files may be missing.

1Password Version: 6.5.3
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 10.12.2 Sierra
Sync Type: Dropbox
