Opera (Ver42) extensions not downloading (On a Mac)

Not able to download and install the extensions to run 1P inside the Opera (Ver42) browser on a Mac. Chrome and Safari working well. Opera has worked in previous versions.

Download doesn't work with either the "green button" downloads or the alternative site. And accepting Beta's doesn't change the result.

Tried multiple times, on multiple networks, and also several restarts have occurred. Any suggestions?

    Hi @Ergo17! I just tested this with Opera on my Mac (I don't usually run Opera) and the download was blocked by Opera, because the extension is 'unknown' (to Opera). I get a warning like this:

    Extension_Warning

    Do you see this as well or is the download just silently interrupted?

    In my case it was just silently interupted

    But I'm trying to go to extensions manager now and see if that works!

    Let us know if you're still having trouble or if you successfully downloaded and installed the latest extension.

    Yes, thank you - it now works. So my question, which I win't really spend much time on as a solution exists - is why Opera didn't inform me of the issue. But that isn't significantly your problem.
