New items not syncing from Mac to iOS until restart iOS app? (1Password account)

I recently moved to a 1Password account which I use across OSX and various iOS devices.

I've noticed that new items added in OSX are not automatically being reflected in my iOS device item counts (noticed because the total item counts did not match OSX instance). The new items are there, but not reflected in the item counts (either total, or by category).

After confirming that all instances were signed into my 1Password account, I played around and the only solution i can find is to manually close the iOS app and then reopen it; this instantly updates to the correct item total/s.
