Problems with Amazon.ca captcha

When logging in with the 1Pw (for iOS) browser Amazon.ca has recently been putting up a captcha when logging in, which hasn't a problem until today. Today, I couldn't get past the captcha to save my life and I finally gave up and turned to Safari. I was surprised to find that logging in with Safari did not confront me with a captcha at all and I,simply used the 1Pw Safari extension. This didn't make sense to me--why one browser and not the other?

  • Hey @mb_shaffer,

Thanks for taking the time to write in.

We use Apple's WKWebView for the browser within 1Password, and that always seems to be one step behind their Safari browser. That was one of the reasons we created the 1Password browser extension for Safari. It generally offers a better experience than 1Browser can provide.

It sounds like you may already have the extension set up but if not I've included instructions. That would be our recommended way to fill 1Password credentials into web pages. :)

Use the 1Password extension to fill in Safari and apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

    Ben
