QR Code within a single device
This seems to be a problem with iOS as a whole? I first thought it was an issue attempting the Emergency Kit but now I have come to realise it my be more than that after looking up TOTP on your site.

The above site shows how things are done on MacOS and not iOS.
With WinPhone 8.1, there was a feature called Scan with Bing Vision which allowed Single device QR Code scans.

How would something like this be implemented?

I could not get TOTP to work with Dropbox from1Password for iOS v6.5.1. The QR Code was unsupported.

Ben, it may be possible to do it through Launch Center Pro but I am presently not a Launch Center Pro user.
