Where is the guide to handling "legacy http auth" forms? This guide is referenced, but link broken.

MikeT posted a suggestion in a thread on ADP and its use of the legacy http auth mechanism. In that post, there was a link that purportedly offered a guide for working around the legacy http auth form by using some other features in 1Password. But the link to the guide in MikeT's post is broken.
Can you tell me where that guide is? Searching the support forum does not produce a result that matches the description.
