Maximum number of devices allowed...

in iOS

I have tried to launch Boxcryptor from my iPad Air 2 to access files in my OneDrive, but at the sign in I get this message "You are already connected to the maximum number of devices allowed". Can you tell me what this means as I only have one other device, windows 10 pic. Sorry if I'm being dumb, but the files I need to access via onedrive are important.
