I can't find how to retrieve a Previous Password in a Login item.

Possibly making it more complicated is the Item includes several passwords in additional Sections. The Previous Password I'm looking for is the one created within a Section.

    Hi @martinfowler,

    Thanks for reaching out to us with your question! Previously used passwords are recorded when you change the main password field of a Login item (the one shown at the top of the item details, below the username field). But it sounds like you changed the password in a custom field that you added in a custom section. There's no list of previously used passwords for custom fields, which is why you aren't finding it.

    If you need to know what was in that field before you edited it, you can restore 1Password from a backup, copy the old information somewhere, then restore 1Password from the most recent backup with all your latest data.
