iCloud vault is locked up
Hello,
I made up a backup of my iPhone but unfortunately the backup got corrupted as a result all my data is lost. The good thing is that 1Password is synced with my iCloud. Now I have installed the 1Password again and trying to restore from my iCloud sync. Now it is asking for master password. I have tried my master password which I have been using to unlock the application before my data was lost but it says password is incorrect l. I dont know why it is getting error. I have tried every other password combinations which I could remember but didn't succeed. It is showing that 1Password vault is available on iCloud but I am not be able to open it even when I am trying it with my master password.
Kindly tell me a way to solve this situation . Please.

Thanks for taking the time to write in.
Did you make a backup of 1Password using this procedure? This is how we recommend backing up standalone 1Password vaults:
1Password backups
Do you sync 1Password with any other devices? Or was your data only on your phone, and perhaps in iCloud?
Please let us know.

Sir
First of all thanks for replying. I have been using 1Password app on my iPhone over a year. I have never faced such kind of problem before as I only make backup of my iPhone data in iTunes only.
I have been using 1Password only on my iPhone not any other device. I have gone through the backup page you have mentioned in reply but I am afraid that the options for backup it is showing wasn't available earlier might the new version of the app have this facility. I have made the full backup of my iPhone in iTunes only under the backup options it provides in summary tab. But as I have mentioned earlier also my backup file got corrupted somehow so wasn't able to restore it with iTunes. Though I have access to the app folders via some third party app available in market.
My 1Password vault is being synced with iCloud only. I have tried using my master password which the app asked me and was using while entering the app. But now it says that master password is wrong. I didn't understand what else is master password it is asking for. Kindly help.0 -
Thanks for the additional information. Unfortunately we've found that iTunes is not super reliable when it comes to backing up app states / data. That is why we included our own backup utility within 1Password, but you would've needed to take advantage of that prior to this situation in order to restore using it now.
If your Master Password is not being accepted please see this guide:

Sir
I have been using iTunes backup since I have started using idevices but never got such situation. I have already gone through the steps in the mentioned page earlier but they didn't worked for me. Is there any other method to recover all my data through third party apps? I am able to access all my data in my so called "corrupted" iTunes backup file, but I didn't got anything understandable in 1Password folder. Is there any other solution for this. I am afraid if this is not the case I have to write and gather all the information from start.0 -
It is one of those "it isn't a problem until it is a problem" things. :(
Since you have a utility to browse the internals of the iTunes backup file you may find this guide helpful:
https://support.1password.com/cs/ios-itunes-backup/#step-3-copy-the-data
Unfortunately step 4 there won't help, as there are currently some difficulties with file names, but if you get that far please let us know and we'll be happy to guide you further.
