Data in primary (current) vault is different from iCloud. Can I sync and merge them?
I have 1Password on both my iPhone and Macbook but haven't synced them with iCloud since 2015. I was unable to sync them so tended to use only my iPhone rather than the Mac for adding new passwords and don't want to lose these!
I want to be able to sync the two and have tried to set up iCloud to do this. however, I have received a warning that the data in the primary vault (last modified 7 Feb 2017) is different from the data selected in iCloud (last modified Oct 2015). If I sync and merge the data, will the more up to date information be saved or do I risk losing newer passwords?
1Password Version: Version 6.5.3
Extension Version: Version 4.6.2
OS Version: macOS Sierra Version 10.12
Sync Type: Dropbox

Hi @mren0830
The first thing I'd recommend doing is making a backup of your data on the iPhone. That way if anything does go unexpectedly you can restore from the backup:
1Password backups
Once you're sure you've got a good copy of your data backed up then you can go ahead and attempt the merge.

P.S. Syncing with iCloud and using 1Password "stand alone" is the older way of doing things. You may want to consider upgrading to a 1Password.com account:
