my new ipad does not let my sign in to my account. Worked with old ipad.
I installed 1password on new ipad and used the itune restore from old ipad to load app. I am getting error when I try to sync due to account error. I have checked an my account is correct.

Thanks for taking the time to write in!
Your account appears to be in order. Could you please try uninstalling/reinstalling 1Password on the iPad? Then please try scanning the QR code either from your Emergency Kit or from 1Password on the old iPad (1Password > Settings > 1Password Accounts > your account > View Account Code) on the new iPad.

the account key for this email address should start with: A3 – T7TJTAwe are unable to verify your credentials. Please check and make sure email address and account key are correct
My iphone7plus works, ipad pro does not.

It worked when I scan from iphone. Why would the scan not work when I use a printout from my Emergency Kit from the website to scan?

Either something has changed since that printout or it is for a different account. I'd recommend destroying that Emergency Kit and printing a new one:
