On the iPhone7, we downloaded 1P from the App Store, We OPEN app, scroll down to WLAN Server, We see our desktop computer name, choose it, enter Secret Code to match desktop, click NEXT, wait, then get the ERROR: The operation couldn't be complete, Network is unreachable.

  • Desktop is MacBook Pro OS Sierra 10.12 running PARALLEL Desktop 11 for MAC Business Addition Version 11.0.0 (31193).

@copymaster003 take a look at this knowledge base article:

If you're having trouble using the WLAN server

On the assumption both devices are on the same network I'm wondering if you may have something blocked by a firewall. However, the article should help as it contains a number of troubleshooting suggestions.

We saw that article prior to posting the above. We tried all those steps mentioned. Turned off all firewalls, renamed computers so that there are no spaces or numbers, etc etc... And, we do see our desktop computer name on the 1P App on our iPhone7 when we try the WLAN Sync.

  • Hi @copymaster003,

Unfortunately if the guide above does not resolve the issue there may be issues with your network configuration beyond the scope of what we can do here. You may need to choose an alternate sync method that doesn't depend so heavily on your local network configuration:

    Sync your 1Password data

The one other thing you could try would be setting up an ad hoc wireless network, and see if you are able to sync that way. If you can then the problem is at the network level. If you cannot, then the problem is with your computer.

Create an ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network

    Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Ben
