The 1Password dev team may be aware, but there have been some improvements/changes to macOS Sierra (and iOS I believe) clipboard behavior.

Not sure if these are already being implemented in 1Password.

When pastboard contents are set, additional meta information can be attached such as:

  • expiration time
  • local-only (not allowed to be transmitted via iCloud Universal Clipboard)

These conditions could help secure data copied from 1Password to the clipboard.

    Hi @orchetect,

    Thanks for the feedback, we're aware of these changes and we've definitely rolled some of them out. Others will require more work, and others aren't possible due to API deficiencies.
