Version 6.6.1 downloaded pkg gives "Unidentified Developer" warning
Downloaded v6.6.1 (using Safari) from the https://1password.com/downloads/ page. When I try to launch the pkg file, it gives an "Unidentified developer" warning.
I downloaded v6.5.5 from the release notes page (https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPM4) -- https://cache.agilebits.com/dist/1P/mac4/1Password-6.5.5.pkg and it doesn't give this warning. Reversion to your certificate problem?
Would be good to get a speedy response from you on this.

Would it be possible for you to check the md5 of the 1Password-6.6.1.pkg that you've got on your system?
if you open Terminal.app, type
md5
followed by a space and then drag the 1Password-6.6.1.pkg into the Terminal window, lastly hit return.it should say
803a868a762b2a8dc97799d4b4060097

@rudy it does indeed have that md5

I've just double-clicked it again and it doesn't give me the warning dialog. Slightly weird. But maybe some transient error? Or did opening 1password-6.5.5.pkg (which I did, without installing) change something?
Anyway, I assume it's all fine now. I'm good to install

They should both actually be signed with the same Installer certificate (with a 3/14 expiry date). If you click the little lock in the top right corner of the Installer.app window it should reveal the details about the signature on the installer.
We've heard a small number of people reporting this issue. We're going to be generating a new installer certificate shortly and hopefully those warnings cease at that point.

Yes, it has that certificate. I've gone ahead and installed it. All seems good. Just a bit unnerving (especially after the chrome warning, which is I think a generic chrome issue, https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/75724/when-trying-to-download-1password-6-6-1-in-chrome-get-a-warning-and-a-strange-file-extension#latest )
anyway all done

Indeed, Chrome just does a blanket warning for all pkg files signed or not. Its definitely better safe than sorry though, so I'm glad you asked.
