It'd be great to have a place to store links to Password Reset pages in applications, so when you go through Watchtower or get an infosec alert (cough Cloudbleed cough) you can quickly go through your logins and reset them with new, strong-generated passwords as you go.

To make it faster it'd be handy for the browser plugin to have a new context menu for "Save Password Reset URL" for a highlighted account when you're on that site.

    Hi @ColinMorris

Thank you for getting in touch with and letting us know what you'd like to see in 1Password. This is an interesting idea and something you can already do (except the last, automatic part). You can add as much extra information as you need, your item would look something like this:

You only need to Edit your item (on the bottom right corner of 1Password), add a new "label" called "Reset password" or something similar that you like and paste the link the new field. Finally click on the 3 dots at the end and pick "URL" instead of "Text" to make it into a link. You can then go to the correct part of the site with one simple click ;)

Please let us know what you think of this and how it works for you if you try it!

    Thanks Pilar,

Yes the additional fields is a great place to put these as arbitrary extra fields. It's certainly a first step, but having extra functionality like a button to capture the password reset URL will make it faster. I wasn't aware of the URL switch to make it a link, though, so that's going to save a bunch of time, thank you.
