Crashing iPhone iOS app when syncing with DropBox

I have been adding passwords to the Mac app.

Now, when I open the iOS app, as soon as I use the touch ID or password, the app crashes. It's crashing so fast, I ca't even tap on the send report icon.

I'm using versions - 6.6 (660013) and 6.5.2.

Help!!!

  • Hi @vance_erwin

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble! Have you tried canceling the prompt for Touch ID and entering your Master Password? Does that work?

    Please let us know. :)

    Ben:

Just tried that and it's working.

What I did was run the app and let it sit for a bit. Then in with the password.

Is it a syncing issue? I did add about 50 items via my MacBook.

    Thanks!

Hmm. While not impossible, I'm not sure I'd jump to that conclusion with the information we have so far.

Once you logged in using your Master Password did everything sync okay? Are you now able to login using Touch ID again without difficulty?

    Please let me know.

    Ben:

Sorry to say it is still crashing. Doesn't matter if I use touch ID or not and it seems to be related to modifications of the data on my MacBook. I changed 5-10 icons and added more passwords on the MacBook.

I am sending the error reports to you when it crashes.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

    1. Plug your phone into your computer and sync it with iTunes.

    3. Paste the following into the window that pops up: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/
    4. Select all the files that begin with 1Password and drag them to Mail in the Dock to create a new mail message.
