Backup encryption

Hello 1P Team,

just a quick question: Are the automatically created backups at User/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/Backups completely encrypted the same way my normal vault is? Means same security and same Master Password? File ending is .1p4_zip

I'm asking because I want to export a Backup to a secure place separated from my Mac. Can I simply copy this data and place it somewhere save without taking care of additional security or encryption of the device?

    @tabaluga,

    Those zip files are an exact zip of the data in the corresponding Data folder peer to that Backups folder. The databases inside contain your encrypted data.
