  • Hi @irvherzog,

Thanks for taking the time to write in.

v6.6 is a Mac app, not an iOS app. iPhones run iOS, not macOS, so you won't be able to install that version on your iPhone. Instead please download 1Password here:

1Password 6 for iOS - iTunes App Store

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask. Thanks!

Sorry about the numbers mixup. Went to App store on my iPhone. 1Password has option to OPEN app. When I do, it asks if I am new to 1Password, which I am not. Next it asks "already using 1Password"? Then lists 1Password.com, iCloud, Dropbox, WLAN Server. or local. Now I would like to transfer the passwords on my mac. How?

It looks like your 1Password.com membership account is frozen, so I suspect you aren't using it? How were you syncing your data previously? You can check on the Mac by opening 1Password > Preferences > Sync.

    Thanks.

Hello Ben, I have been using 1password since May 25, 2016. Can you tell me why the account is frozen. I have a license # but my Account Key starts with A3-XDW83E. When I go into preferences it tells me it should start with A3-VPP7P2. I would really like to use 1 password on my IOS device as well as on my iMac.

Hello Ben, Any answer as to why my account is supposed to be frozen?

  • Hi @irvherzog,

    I apologize for the delay.

Your account is frozen because you haven't set upyour subscription yet. I'm sorry for the confusion. You have signed up for an account recently, and after 30 days your account needs a subscription to stay active. If you previously purchased a license for 1Password an account for the subscription service was not included with that purchase.

The subscription account you created is the best way to use 1Password. It includes the latest versions of all the 1Password apps so you can get your passwords from your computer, phone, tablet, and more. Your devices sync automatically — third-party services like Dropbox and iCloud are no longer required. You can even share with your family: https://support.1password.com/why-account

You can subscribe anytime to unfreeze your account: https://support.1password.com/frozen-account

If you purchased a license within the last year please shoot us an email with those details to support+forum@agilebits.com and then post the support ID that you get here.

Once you get unfrozen you'll want to migrate your existing items into your account -- so far it doesn't look like you're using it:

Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account

    Thanks!

    Ben
