When I try to log into my 1Password account on iOS it never stops spinning.

I have been using 1Password on iOS for a while with iCloud sync. Today I signed up for a 1Password and installed the mac app. I can log into my 1Password account on my Mac on in Safari just fine. When I try to log into my account on iOS it just sits there and spins. I let it run for over 10 minutes and the spinner is still going. I tried killing 1Password and restarting it, but that did not help.

1Password Version: 6.5.1

  • Hi @StephenLJohnson,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty.

The first thing I'd recommend doing, if you're able, is making a backup of your 1Password data on iOS:

    1Password backups

Then uninstall and reinstall the iOS app. Scroll to the bottom of the list on the setup screen and select the option to create a standalone vault. Restore from the backup but do not set up iCloud sync. Login to your 1Password account on iOS and migrate your data to your account:

Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account

Once completed you can delete the Primary vault from Settings > Vaults > Primary > Delete Vault.

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

    Ben
