Syncing iPhone 1Password to new iCloud Acct..How to?
I am syncing 1Password on my iPhone 6S (ver 10.2.1) to my iCloud acct. which is different from the iCloud acct I have my new MacBookPro 2016 (ver 10.12.3 Sierra) 1Password account synced to. I wish to make my iPhone sync to the same iCloud account as my MacBookPro.
I want to make sure but I think I do the following: Backup my 1Password on iPhone and iPhone info. Then, sign out of the iPhone iCloud account and sign in to the one that syncs with my MacBookPro. ????? correct???
Thanks for any help

Hi @CBell,
That all sounds correct. These guides may be of some help:

How to sync 1Password with iCloud
Thanks!

Actually, I had to first log into the iCloud that the iPhone was using (on my MacPro) and THEN delete the iPhone from that iCloud account, THEN it allowed me to sign in (on my iPhone to the other iCloud account. I have since gone into my iPhone and made iPassword sync with the iCloud account shared by my MacPro. Now I am trying to 'merge' the accounts.

I am trying to merge iPassword databases (on iPhone and iCloud). My vault password must be different from my master password. How do I recover my Vault password? Thanks

Hi @CBell,
Just to be clear: all of the data exists on the iPhone? If so you can delete the 1Password data from iCloud and sync the iPhone data there.
Disable iCloud sync everywhere. Be sure to do these steps on every device:
- Mac: Open and unlock 1Password, then choose 1Password > Preferences. Click the Sync icon, select your Primary vault, and set "Sync Primary vault with" to None.
- iOS: Open and unlock 1Password, then tap Settings > Sync > Sync Service > Disable Sync.
Remove the data from iCloud. You only need to do this on one device. Once the data is removed, there is no need to remove it again.
- iPhone: Open and unlock 1Password, then tap Settings > Advanced. Scroll down and tap Erase iCloud Data.
It might take a moment to remove all the data from iCloud, but there will be a confirmation when it's done.
On the iPhone, begin syncing with iCloud in 1Password again.
- Begin syncing with iCloud on all other devices.

Thanks Ben, for your help
Since we exchanged info and you advised I have manually entered data from my iPhone (1Password items) into my MacPro computer. The MacPro computer data in 1Password is now the 'most complete'. Both the iPhone and MacPro are now correctly logged into the correct iCloud account. Does this change the above instructions in any way?

It does, yes.
If the Mac Pro is now the most updated please follow the steps under #2 and #3 on the Mac Pro instead of the iPhone.
Thanks.
