I am having an issue with this site using my logins. It fills the site properly but appears to be filling twice (or more) and I am getting an error upon successful login that the login is unsuccessful.

I may also be unknowingly tapping Sign In twice or more accidentally.

    Hi @wkleem,

    The behavior you're describing is a symptom of having the web browser's password manager enabled in addition to using 1Password, with both attempting to fill the same forms. To avoid that, we suggest disabling the browser's password manager:

    Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser

    Please let us know if that doesn't help so we can look into other reasons why this is happening. Cheers!

    Hi

    Password Management is off on the browser side. It is the among first thing that I do when setting up the browser. I didn't notice this behavior with the older 1Password Extension, I think, 4.6.2 or 4.6.3?. I've not kept track of the extensions. The issue wasn't present with the last stable Extension.

    @sjk,

    I have narrowed things down to between pressing the keyboard's Enter/Return key or simply clicking on the Sign In button. Typing Enter is more likely to produce an error message.

    Hi @wkleem,

    Are you saying you're seeing the issue if you manually press enter, so you're not using 1Password to submit?

    I would like to send in a report. Which email address do I send it to?

    Hi @wkleem,

    For an error like this in 1Password for Mac I would send the email to support@agilebits.com, that would seem the most applicable email address. Out of curiosity, are you running both 1Password 6 and 1Password 4 for Windows? They don't like existing on the same machine so I would recommend choosing one and removing the other.

    @littlebobbytables,

    I don't have a choice at this point as 1Password 6 supports Dropbox vaults as read only at this point.

    @wkleem: Ah, gotcha. It helps though to run only one at a time, even if you need to keep both installed. For example, quit 1Password 6 from the notification area when you want to use 1Password 4; or kill 1Password 4's Helper "1Password (32-bit)"/"Agile1PAgent.exe" in Task Manager when you want to use 1Password 6. Does that help?

    Brent, Thanks. v4.6.618 is and I only recently noticed it. I will be updating soon as I haven't done so.

    Ah, that makes sense. That should do the trick for you then, but we're here if you run into any other issues. :)
