Updating Password Across Vaults with Copied Accounts?
Good afternoon.
I am using both 1Password Families and Teams. My ask applies to both.
I know it is possible to create a login within a Shared Vault, but I have refrained from doing so due to accidental changes being a frequent issue. I have found it simpler to create logins in my Personal vault first, then copy those logins to a Managed vault where viewing and editing are limited to certain users.
My request is a way to have login updates synced to Managed vaults. Today, if I change a password to a login I have to remember to copy it again to the Managed vault and the delete the duplicate. It would be nice to see an option within a login that recognizes it appears in multiple vaults. Once copied, you could then check the option to either sync the primary login to it's Managed copies or not.
If there is a current best practices for managing one login across multiple vaults (and if that's different in Families and Teams since I use both) I am all ears.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hi @azarok! Thanks for asking about this. There is indeed a better way, and that's to simply move the items you want to share with your family rather than copying them. That's the best way to share with your family:
Share passwords with your family
Give it a try, and let us know what you think! :)
