User login required to update to 6.6.2 on a mac?

1Password is asking me to upgrade to 6.6.2. As part of the update, it tells me I must enter the password with which I login to my computer so that it can update some files. Is this request is legitimately coming from 1password?

    @athleens,

    Due to the way the Installer package installs 1Password any time the Updater is used to update 1Password it will prompt for authorization to make that change.
