Workaround for iPad Air without Touch ID ?
I was very excited about 1Password until today. My husband uses his iPad Air for everything (it's become an appendage lol). It's a few years old, and I learned it does not have Touch ID. Neither does my iPad Air, purchased in 2012.
Even after setting autolock to one hour and not upon exit for his iPad, 1Password requires our master password every time I minimize the 1Password app to add a new account. It's a long password, generated through 1Password. Minimizing 1Password to shift screens on iOS seems to exit it.
It is futile to constantly have to put in the master password when trying to add new website logins, or even access websites on iPad through 1Password. I added many passwords while on desktop. I have to use his iPad Air when adding his, because passwords are saved in its memory, but he doesn't remember them. I don't have time to have the forgotten password emailed, because he has a lot of accounts.
Also, my iPhone 7 Plus retains the login of his Nashbar and Amazon accounts, for example, but his iPad Air does not retain the login for many websites.
Suggestions would be appreciated. I'm new and continuing to look through the tutorials. I appreciate any experience you've gained. It says I am on a trial, even though I paid the full year yesterday, so that's another problem – – I don't think it's interfering with this issue, though.
Thanks.

My iPhone 5s does not give the option for a pin under security. Is there something I'm missing? The iPads are easier with the pin; thanks again.

iPhone 5s has Touch ID, so not sure if the PIN is disabled on stuff Thanh has Touch ID.

Touch ID enabled devices will only have the option of Touch ID, not a PIN.
Thanks.
