Chrome extension says "application not found" but then launches App on Mac

I have downloaded the latest versions of the desktop app for Mac as well as the latest Chrome extension...but when I hit the Chrome extension, it launches the desktop app, but then says "couldn't connect to 1password". See attached screen shot.

    Hi @cwalker123,

    From your screenshot the problem is very clear. You're trying to use the current Chrome extension with 1Password 3. This isn't a compatible configuration as you can tell.

    Your best bet is to upgrade to 1Password 6, which is compatible with the 1Password extension for Chrome.
