Bug: In Identities, if India is selected as the country State appears before City.

Hi There,

I love using 1Password and store pretty much everything I can in it.

In my years of using it I seem to have come across a bug.

In the Address section of Identities, if "India" is selected as the country "State" appears before "City" and "Postcode".
It should actually appear between City, Postcode and Country.

  1. Name
  2. Flat Number, Building Name
  3. Street Number, Street Name
  4. Locality / Neighbourhood / Suburb
  5. City
  6. Postal Code (PIN)
  7. STATE
  8. Country

Since there is only the option for a single line for street address, lines 2, 3 & 4 are generally combined into the one line.

If it helps in any way, there is a wikipedia article which lists several address formats for countries across the world (including India):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Address_(geography)#India

This is the case in the iOS version as well as the MacOS version.

Is there a way that this can be corrected?

Thank you for creating this amazing software.

    Hi @NTP,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about that! I'll open a ticket to let our developers know the “State” field is in the wrong place in Identities items when India is selected as the country.

Out of curiosity, does it work correctly when filling an address form on a website?

Aside from that, I hope you're enjoying 1Password. Have a great weekend! :)

Thanks for that. Yes it does work correctly when filling in forms.
    Tested here: https://www.roboform.com/filling-test-all-field
...and, I am enjoying 1Password. Thanks :chuffed:

Great, I'm glad the position of the “State” field doesn't cause problems when filling forms! Thanks for following up to confirm that.

We're always happy to help, so please let us know if you need anything else. Cheers! :)
