New phone - can't unlock 1Password

    I got a new iPhone and had to restore from an old back-up and now my 1Password master password only works on my PC not my iPhone. I don't remember the previous password so I can't try it.

    Hi @HRCG,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    Am I understanding correctly that 1Password is working as expected on your computer? If so I'd recommend:

    1. Uninstall 1Password from the iPhone
    2. Reinstall it: http://j.mp/1PasCS
    3. Sync it with 1Password on your computer: https://support.1password.com/sync-options/

    Thanks Ben. I read something that implied if I uninstall 1Password from my phone it will delete all of my information (which is what it's supposed to do) but I just need to clarify the data will still be on my computer so when I reinstall the app and sync it, my data will be on both devices. Just slightly terrified of losing all my password info!

    Removing the app from the phone will indeed also remove the data from the phone with it, but it has no bearing on the data stored on your computer. :)
