Feature request: If my MacBook with TouchID is closed (e.g. "Docked"), don't ask me to use it.

I often use my MacBook Pro closed and connected to an external monitor and keyboard, etc.

When this happens, you shouldn't require me to take the extra step of having to click "Enter Master Password" - you should just assume that I'm not going to use TouchID and take me to a text password field (focused) where I can enter my master password. I suspect this is the primary use case. (Maybe make TouchID-ing in a secondary option for people who prefer to not type their password and don't mind opening their laptop to do it).

  • Hi @timfee! Thanks for asking about this. We've fixed the issue in version 6.7.BETA-4. You can get the beta now if you'd like, or wait until the fix comes to the stable version. :)
