Today we released a new version of the 1Password browser extension, version 4.6.4. In preparation for changes we're hoping to make, it requires a new permission titled Communicate with cooperating native applications. This will result in Chrome and Vivaldi disabling the extension until the new permissions have been approved.

You can learn more about it on this support page:

1Password extension is disabled in Chrome and "requires new permissions"

NB: The 1Password extension has always required the ability to "Read and change all your data on the websites that you visit". This is essential to allow filling and is a red herring in the case of the new permissions required by 4.6.4. Absolutely none of your browser information/history is ever sent to AgileBits.
