Tags on Desktop, Folders on Mobile?
Kind of confused why Desktop version of 1PW has Tags, and Mobile Version has Folders. This makes syncing and organization very painful. Was there logic behind this, or was it an innocent miscommunication and/or oversight?

While exploring the folders functionality I could not actually find any way to add items to a folder.

It actually sounds like you might have signed up for and signed in with a 1Password.com account on one of your devices but not the other. Folders aren't part of the 1Password.com account feature set, they were replaced by Tags. I would check that you're signed in with that account on all your devices to ensure that your information is actually being synchronized between them.
