Is there a way to "subscribe" to a thread?

Every forum I know of but this one offers a way to start a thread or respond to one and get instant email notification if anybody else posts. I can't find a way to do that here and there is a thread I started that I really need to follow.

    Hi @rbpeirce,

    While I don't believe there are any per-thread settings, you can adjust your global settings such that you are notified when there is activity on threads you've participated in. You can find those settings here:

    I think I must have already done that because I discover I am being notified. I didn't realize (or forgot) that would happen when I made this post.

    By default, you'll be notified for new posts in discussions you've started, discussions you've participated in, or direct @ -mentions, but you can always "star" other discussions to be notified as well — and tweak your preferences as Ben mentioned. Cheers! :)
