I'm having a problem with my 1 password extension not working since a recent 1 password update.

1 password extensions not working since a recent upgrade. I tried repeatedly to download it but when I click on the download it says "an error incurred while installing the extension 1 password"
I tried to put category 1 password above but it wouldn't let me

OS Version: 10.12.4
Sync Type: iCloud

    Hi, @lisanz. Welcome to the forums! This error usually means there is already a Safari extension in place. Please try this:

    1. Go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions and delete any 1Password entries.
    2. Go to Finder and choose Go > Go to Folder… and enter ~/Library/Safari/Extensions
    3. Delete any safariextz files whose names include 1Password.
    4. Empty the Trash
    5. Restart your Mac
    6. Install the extension fresh: https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions
