1Pass 5 says that I should upgrade. When I download 1Password-6.7.1.pkg and run it, I can't proceed

I get to a dialog that lists '1Password 5' and '1Password mini.' The only button that's sensitized is the one to 'Go Back!.'
If I try to use 1Pass itself to download and upgrade, it just keep downloading it over and over, instead of actually installing anything.

I'm on Mac Sierra. 1Password V 5.4.3.
This is what I bought long back:

  • @kebarcla,

If you Quit 1Password 5 and mini before launching the installer does it let you proceed?

The updater built into 5.4.3 won't be able to update to any modern version of 1Password due to a change in the code signature between the two. Which is why it fails to install anything.

Rudy, thanks: I was able to proceed. I'm on 6 now.

  • @kebarcla,

Great to hear, let us know if you have any other questions.
