Forum issue with multi page discussions
I have noticed this issue, as currently I have a four page discussion and when I or anyone else commented on the thread, shouldn't the topic go back to the top?
It doesn't appear to be happening, in my case anyway.

Not all threads do that. It is by design. :)

My thread about multi page discussions and recent comments not seen on TOP had been closed. However there is an ongoing 7 year thread that rises to the TOP each time someone comments on the discussion? Very strange.

Without any context it's hard to say, but there are definitely some quirks. :)

This was the discussion that I thought about:
https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/371860#Comment_371860This is the closed discussion:
https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/78466/forum-issue-with-multi-page-discussions#latestAnd there is the one with 38 pages and 7 years of keeping one's hopes up with the Linux community hoping 1Password will eventually arrive there.

Thanks.

Thanks Brent, the earlier discussion was locked and I did not think to include the Linux thread earlier when I started it.
A difference is my multi page discussion does not go to the TOP but the Linux discussion does. I was concerned about my discussion initially.

I've noticed that the following discussion is unsecured, contrary to most other discussions. There was another similar discussion but I couldn't locate it at the time prior to starting this discussion.

Found it:
https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/352480#Comment_352480Apologies about the multiple threads. Sometimes, searching using inexact keywords is an issue. @XIII. I have HTTPS Everywhere and still see the warning from the 2nd image.

@wkleem: Indeed, please avoid posting in multiple places for the same issue. And again, in this case, it isn't something we'll be able to address ourselves. As mentioned previously, it's something we've brought up with he forum software vendor. There just isn't any value in continuing to pontificate on this topic, as it's out of our hands. :unamused:

Is there any hope in resolving this issue like Agilebits did similarly with the previous "Avatars" or whatever caused the issue. I thought I would highlight the problem, that is that for some reason, the Https was insecure, when it should be secure, based on the screen capture that I posted.
I have only noticed it in the General Lounge although it could happen elsewhere as well.
Perhaps you may want to move the relevant part of this discussion to the correct thread then?

@wkleem: It isn't something we have control over, no. And ultimately, the browser (Firefox?) is just letting you know that some elements on the page are not secure. It's possible that the forum software vendor may make changes in the future which could work around this by simply disallowing images being referenced from other sources. But I think it's important to bear in mind that all 1Password purchases, licensing, and accounts are completely separate. This is a public forum anyway, so we shouldn't be posting anything sensitive in the first place, even if the whole thing was over HTTP (no S). We'll update the thread if and when there are any developments.
