Trouble getting extensions working in iOS Chrome and safari. For instance, I'm trying to use 1Pass on Amazon. I can tell it's trying with the generated password, by it still won't log in. I'm still unclear on basic issues. First, I see no point of entry for the existing website password. How can you change to the new password if you don't tell 1pass the old one? Second, what is supposed to happen when a log in-in pops up? Will the ID and password be auto populated by 1password, which then in effect hits the return?

More to come. Please provide answers for these questions first.

I think you may find this guide helpful:

Use the 1Password extension to fill in Safari and apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

The general order of things would usually be:

Save your current credentials in 1Password
Generate a new password for the website (after logging in with your current credentials)
Change the password for the site to the newly generated password
