Created Login Doesn't Fill Login Form for San Diego Customer Care Center

The login URL is https://customer.sandiego.gov/bdisu/public/frameset_top_html.jsp. I have created an IOS "login" which, regrettably, does not fill the URL's required fields. Were I to copy and paste userid and password, then the login is successful. How to fill without copy and paste is my question. A bogus userid and password may be used merely to test the "fill" capability. Thank you.

  • Hi @dapster,

Thanks for taking the time to write in.

Could you please try this URL instead?
    https://customer.sandiego.gov/logon/logonServlet

The problem with the one you posted is that they are using something called "frames", which 1Password cannot fill inside of.

The suggested URL works perfectly. Thank you!!!

For future reference, is there a general means to convert a "frames" URL to one without?

  • @dapster,

    You're welcome! Glad that worked.

There isn't a sure fire way to do it... some sites will force their pages into frames. But what I did for this site is opened the URL you sent us in Safari on my Mac, right clicked on the login form, and selected the "open frame in new tab" option. That opened up the URL I provided above. :)
