[Problem] iOS on iPhone 5s - Masterpassword to long [resolved by updating iOS]
Hello,
I am using an iPhone 6 and and iPhone 5s. I reinstalled the app on both devices and wanted to sync it with my existing dropbox vaults. On iPhone 6 there is no problem at all. On the iPhone 5s I did the same: I choose 'sync with existing dropbox account' and type my dropbox login - so far no problems. After that I choose the 1Password.opvault-Vault (primary vault) and I type in my master password. Because my masterpassword is very long (more than 27 characters) the app is constantly freezing after the 20th character I type in. I seems like because the resolution on the iPhone 5s is smaller and the password-field is limited/at the end. I tried to use landscape mode to expand the password-field but the app only supports portrait mode. Also to copy-paste the long password is not working (freezing again).
(I tried to sync a different vault first with a smaller master password and there is no problem. After the first vault it entered I can add second fault with no problems. But than that "secondary" vault is the primary vault on the iPhone 5s. How can I switch it back to the primary vault?)
Thanks

Hi @bogomil22,
It sounds like your iPhone 5s may be running an older version of iOS. If that's the case, here's what you can do:
Please update to iOS 10.2.1 (or newer) if you are unable to enter your Master Password
Hopefully that works for you and be sure to let us know if you need any further help with this. Cheers!

Much Thanks for the help. An iOS update fixed the problem. Thread can be closed.
