cannot find 1Password app in applications

mac 10.11.6 cannot find the application, not in aplications! copy of search included, cannot follow anything cause I cannot get into preficens

    Hi @ninefingers,

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble locating the 1Password app on your Mac! Thank you for including the screenshot of your search. It looks like the 1Password 6 app was found in that search - it's listed in the "Other" section (below "Opera" and above "Pages"). Click once on "1Password 6" in that list, and it should show you where that app file is located so you can find it and move it back to the Applications folder.
