@sebrucker: A 1Password.com membership gives you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether:

    1Password.com

That way you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data, even on your iPhone and iPad. You can try it for free for 30 days, and be sure to let us know if you have any questions at all. :)

I'm a bit confused. You seem to say that my account, which I've been using successfully on two of my family's computers for a couple of years, also includes the ability to sync and use with our two family iphones and an ipad, apparently at no extra cost. I downloaded the app to the phones and ipad, but we can't see how to use them.....without paying more, as in $3.99 per month / $48 per year...for each device? Tell me I've got it wrong! My iphone (6s, running the latest iOS) can see the items in my vault, but I can't fill with them, and I see a message saying the (iPhone) account is frozen.

I've just seen info in the Help section saying that my wife and I, with our devices and computers, would need a Family subscription, at $5.99 per month, to gain full and convenient use. So, was my original purchase of 1password, which was not a subscription, just a waste?

  • @jaybar,

So, was my original purchase of 1password, which was not a subscription, just a waste?

Of course not. It has allowed you to use 1Password for as long as you've had it. And it would allow you to continue using 1Password, as you have, as long as it continues to work for you.

But it does sound like you'd like to expand, and the best way to do that would be by signing up for a 1Password Families subscription. You can read more about the benefits of that here:

What are the benefits of a 1Password membership?

And you can learn about how to migrate from your license to a 1Password Families membership here:

    Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account - 1Password Support

I wasn't able to find any licenses under the email address you have registered here on the forums. If you'd like to further discuss your specific situation please feel free to drop us an email to sales@agilebits.com and post the support ID you receive back here.

    Thanks!

    Ben
