Word-like passwords
Generation of passwords in 1Password used to include an option for "word-like" phrases, strings that sounded like words but were not. I am wondering if there is a security based best-practices reason for why that option no longer exists.

That's a great question.
Those passwords were great for times where you might need to speak the password out to someone. This is why we called them "pronounceable" passwords. There's a lot of overlap between the cases where pronounceable passwords are good and where wordlist passwords are good, so we decided to simply use wordlists. So it's not that pronounceable was bad (they aren't), but simply that wordlist passwords should be good for the same kinds of cases but then some more.
