Trial expired?

Hi.
I have 1Password 5 which I purchased in January 2015 installed on my iMac running El Capitan. I would like to install 1Password on my MacBook Air running Sierra. From the App Store, I can only download 1Password 6 but I guess this is not a problem as I read that the upgrade to version 6 is free. However, after installing 1Password 6, I get a "Trial expired" message after clicking on "Click here to Apply Your 1Password License" and I am requested to purchase 1Password. What do I do wrong?

    Hi @wapse,

    I took a look and that original purchase was a license directly from us. This isn't transferrable to the Mac App Store version. You will want to download directly from https://1password.com/downloads in order to get a version that works with your license.
