Whether you've been using 1Password X from the beginning — when it was a super secret, nameless private beta only spoken of in hushed tones — or you're new to 1Password X and want to get all of the latest features and improvements first, we've got something for you: 1Password X (beta)!

1Password X (beta) is just like 1Password X…except more, and we'd love to have you intrepid explorers along for our next journey, so we can continue to make it even better. It works with your 1Password.com membership. Here's what you need to do:

To join our 1Password X (beta) program:

  1. Install 1Password X (beta) in Google Chrome or in Firefox
  2. After you set up the beta extension, remove the stable version from chrome://extensions/ (Chrome), or about:addons (Firefox).
  3. Join us here in the forum to give feedback and report bugs
