Extension does not ask to save new password / updated password

The extension does not ask to save new password / updated password when logging in to a site with credentials it doesn't know.

    @peterjaap: You are correct. This is one of the main reasons I tell people they will encounter incomplete features when inviting them to join us here.

    For the time being, you'll need to add new items by signing into your account on 1Password.com.

    I've tried logging into a few sites now (Google, this forum) but I don't get prompted to save the password. Do I need to do something extra?

    They plan to, but they haven't implemented password saving / vault editing yet.

    @mithrani: 1Password for Chrome doesn't currently generate or save new logins, but this is a core feature that will be added once it's ready. In the meantime, you can add 1Password items by using any of our other apps or on 1Password.com.
