Hey, on one of my macs (and only this mac) all of my pws are duplicated. How can I get rid of them?

  • Hi @adamgordon ,

It sounds like you have two different vaults with the same items in them. This can happen if you've recently migrated to a 1Password.com account. You can confirm this by looking at one vault at a time instead of all of your vaults.

    1. Click the vault selector in the top-left corner of the 1Password window. Choose the Personal vault.
    2. Do the duplicates go away? If so, now switch to the Primary vault (if you have one).
    3. Does it look the same?

If the above is accurate, you have a an older-style standalone Primary vault with the same items as the Personal vault from your account. If you are certain they are all duplicates, I recommend getting rid of the Primary vault. To do this, switch to the Primary vault, and choose Delete Vault… from the 1Password menu.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

Yes, that was it exactly. After some research I found this to be the exact problem. All fixed now--thanks for the help
