Good morning,

When I try to access my Chase Bank credit card account in IOS 10, it does not automatically fill in the UN or PW anymore:

  1. "Auto fill in" working in IOS 10 just fine on other sites.
  2. Was working and then stopped on the Chase site.
  3. https://www.chase.com/
  4. Chase mobile site does require that you go to a second sign in page. On my PC that is no problem as it auto fills.

1Password Version: 4.6.1.620
Extension Version: 4.6.7`- from my PC
OS Version: 10.3.2
Sync Type: Dropbox

  • Hi @1200gs,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Could you please let me know which iOS device (e.x. iPad Air 2) you are having difficulty accomplishing this from? I ask as I know Chase uses different sites for iPhone screen sizes vs iPad screen sizes.

    Thanks!

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

    I am using a 6plus phone

  • Great! Thanks for the information. I just tried this on my iPhone 7 Plus, which is roughly the same form factor, and can confirm it does not work there either. It appears Chase re-designed their login form, and are now using an iframe element to display the form. Unfortunately we're not able to fill inside iframes on iOS. 1Password cannot safely access the form fields within an iframe at present time. We'll continue to evaluate the options available here as iOS and APIs available continue to improve.

Sorry there isn't a better answer at the moment, but my suggestion would be to either use the Chase app or copy & paste your credentials from 1Password to their website.

    Thanks!

    Ben

What is with iOS 11? In iOS 11 a API for fix this issue? What say the 1Password developer?

  • As far as we've seen so far from the iOS 11 betas unfortunately it doesn't appear that there has been any improvement in this regard, yet.

    @Ben
What do you mean exactly? iOS 11 beta no improvement?

So is stupid, you use the current 1Password version 6.7.2 and use the iOS 11 beta and then go to this site. This is not exactly tested.

Therefore my question, iOS 11 has no new api for fix this problem?

  • That is exactly what I'm saying: iOS 11 doesn't fix this problem, at least not with what is currently available in the beta. What I was implying is that there is still time before the final release of iOS 11 where that might change, but it seems unlikely at this point.

    Ben
