Delete 1Password account iOS

I'm a longtime 1Password user who recently tried a 1Password families account. I decided to stick with my current syncing method and deleted my 1Password account during the trial period. I have reset 1Password on iOS but I still see the family account I had when I go to "Settings-1Password Accounts-Add Existing Account". Is there anyway to delete it? I have tried deleting and reinstalling 1Password but that did not help.

  • Hi @haze816,

    Sorry about the trouble. If you have deleted the account then go to 1Password > Settings > 1Password Accounts > Add Existing Account and try adding the deleted account. 1Password should check the credentials, realize the account has been deleted, and remove it.

    Thanks.

    Unfortunately that does not work. I get the message "A problem with your sign in Please check your Master Password or sign in manually with details from your Emergency Kit or a signed in device. Try again"

    @haze816,

    I think i see what you're referring to. You're still seeing your deleted family account credentials (minus the password) as a means of adding an existing account to 1Password. This information is stored in iCloud Keychain; do you happen to have a Mac connected to the same Apple ID?

    If you do you can delete that entry using Keychain Access.app if you look for items with the name com.agilebits.onepassword.b5Credentials.

    @rudy I'll have to check this out. I had this issue too. Thanks!

  • @prime,

    We have an idea of how we want to make that easier on iOS, but it didn't make the cut for 6.8.
