mac book hard drive died loaded new hard drive lost my "key" to login to my 1password account any advice?

    Thanks for writing in; it doesn't look like you have a 1Password.com membership so that means that you wouldn't have an account or a key to use.

    Did you happen to have a backup of your data that you're able to restore from, or did you previously enable sync in some form that would put your data some place other than your hard drive?

    Rudy, I purchased the app from itunes and have the receipt. How can I log in and access my passwords? Thanks David

    Sorry im kinda clueless I dont think I backed it up will check.....if I didnt am I out of luck uggh

    I'm sorry to say that I think its sounding like that might be the case. Prior to 1Password.com accounts your data would only ever be on your local system or any place you might have backed that data up to or synchronized it to (Dropbox, iCloud, a mobile device (iphone/android), a windows pc).

    Do any of those sound like possibilities?
