I am along time user of 1password. On my newest Macbook pro the program is in readonly mode. Why?

The initial purchase was directly with agilebits. After moving to the appstore version it worked ook with my main pc (Imac). I noticed lately I could not edit on the macbook pro. on my iphome and ipad all works fine.
I did remove the app on the macbook, and downloaded it again: no change.
It does sync from the other systems.

Thanks for writing in, due to restrictions imposed by Apple the Mac App Store version is not able to recognize your prior direct purchase from us. Your only option is to run the version available from our website at https://1password.com/downloads
