TouchID Is no longer an option in the 'security' area of 'preferences' on 1Password 6.8

So I noticed today that touchID was no longer being presented as a authentication option on 1Password. Looking to re-enable it I can't see it in the security settings either, has this feature been removed / accidentally deprecated? Or is there a more complex issue?

  • Hi @newcomma! I'd be happy to help out. Could you open System Preferences and make sure Touch ID is enabled there?

Use Touch ID on MacBook Pro

Let us know how that goes!

That was the problem! At least it was an easy fix. Though I'm stumped as to why it became disabled in OSX, maybe an update.

    Thanks for the help.
