I got a 6-digit verification code request on my Mac for 1 Password extension. Real or phishing?

Something came up today on my Mac screen with a 6-digit number and the same number in a box nearby. I was asked to click to verify they matched in order to authorize (or something) the 1 Password extension. I clicked on it without thinking. Was this real? Phishing? Do I need to do something?
